XiangQi Limited is an outfit that is renowned for its work on the Dynasty Warriors franchise. They have been developing a Dynasty Warriors game for quite some time. They’ve recently begun work on a new property and have started work on an unnamed new game.

The game is called City of Light and has the usual hack and slash gameplay, but features a much larger story than its predecessor. Players will be required to explore and hack away at other factions in a city filled with random quests, and these quests will have them doing the fighting for justice.

The developer stated that the game is “not a sequel or a sequel.” They are also looking at other projects for development.
