Worms Blast
Worms Blast
When we were designing the weapons and vehicles in the game we were fairly confident that we could do better than the last Worms game, Worms World Party, in fact. We felt that we could have done better than that, as well.
The modes in the game, along with the single-player experience, are a good mix of two classic modes - the comedy mode and Team Deathmatch.
Team Deathmatch sees you and your worm as they work together in the same area, shooting at everything that moves. This should be fun, as it is a multiplayer mode. The map you're playing in is Earth, and it has a worm that has rocket mounted on its head.
The Worms team liked the idea of a bunch of scientists working together to create weapons and vehicles that get into the human-controlled body of the humans. When we were playing this mode, we were able to play through the same levels as the human team, so we could see the robots's home planet become huge. The level was also quite different than what we saw in Team Fortress 2.
The minigames in Worms World Party are a good mix of fun. They include simple board games, where the pieces are always airborne to fire away at your opponents. The minigames range from controlling a foot soldier with his whip to throwing him at a worm. The minigames range from shooting a worm to hurling his spear at a worm that's launched at it. In one of the minigames, we had to blow a hole in the ground to create some holes in the ground. The worms are a little more complicated than that, as they're slightly difficult to take down. You have to be careful, though, because the worm's arms are being flung around as you drive it, which throws you out of the way. You can't toss the worm or, if you don't make it to the hole, he'll just run off and try to grab it.
The worms' basic controls make for some fun, as well as fun. You steer the worm by pointing in the appropriate direction and pressing a button, and it charges up when you hold the button down. The worm does this by hitting the X button to spin around. If you press the X button while in motion, you'll use the game's shoulder buttons to hold your weapon. The Y button is your charge attack, and it's quite useful in combat. Finally, the B button is your shove-anything button. The B button is your grapple, and it's used to pull off trick moves, like the Dusty's suplex.
The game's graphics have a stylish look to them, thanks to the use of cel-shaded animation. There's a good bit of variety, especially when it comes to the characters, with various insect-like creatures, which really pop out of the woodwork as they drop bombs. In addition to the characters, you'll find a good bit of interactivity. The early levels feature some humorous effects, such as one where the character is wrapped up in a beanstalk and sees him fall off of it. In addition, the game features an assortment of amusing effects that give the game some funny and over-the-top effects.
The audio in the game is a solid assortment of punk and hip-hop themes that work well. The game features a good amount of variety, thanks to the inclusion of a solid assortment of voice acting. You'll hear all the game's original soundtrack tracks, as well as some new ones that appear in the game.
Based on what we've seen so far, S.T.A.L.K.E.R. is shaping up to be a solid shooter that does a good job of offering a solid experience.
Based on what we've seen so far, S.T.A.L.K.E.R. is shaping up to offer a solid offering that blends the action and horror elements found in survival horror games with the gritty atmosphere and disturbing imagery of postapocalyptic films. You'll find a wide range of firearms to pick up and play with, including a semiautomatic rifle, a machine gun, a grenade launcher, and an energy sword. The PlayStation 2 version features a third-person camera option that lets you use it for cover, as well as a targeting feature that lets you lock on to enemies. The Xbox version will have the same kind of survival horror elements that made the PC and Xbox versions so frightful. However, there are some extra elements thrown in that give the PC version a unique feel.
The audio in the game will be coming together to offer a rich audio experience.
The story in S.T.A.L.K.E.R. will unfold around you and will be narrated by the game's interesting characters, who will give you plenty of background information as you play.
