Wings Interactive will bring its recent strategy games The Great War to PC in the US next year. The Great War, and its expansion, Heroes of Might and Magic IV: The Lords of the Realm, will be followed by Sword of the Stars II, a real-time strategy sequel.

In The Great War, you can command your forces on the front lines of a huge medieval war, in a bid to end the war. On the ground, you must defend against legions of troops, or use your position to scout out and attack enemies. To train troops, you must train them from scratch, or you must turn them into officers, which are basically Heroes of Might and Magic III characters who can also be trained.

Wings Interactive has also announced the PlayStation, and its two other titles, Hearts of Iron III and Majesty: The Fantasy Kingdom Sim, are coming to the PC and the Dreamcast. The PC version of both Hearts of Iron III and Majesty: The Fantasy Kingdom Sim will include an entirely new game engine that is based on the Age of Wonders games. Hearts of Iron III will feature the ability to play as the various Heroes of Might and Magic III characters, as well as 18 new scenarios. Majesty: The Fantasy Kingdom Sim will also offer a complete rewrite of the entire classic Hearts of Might and Magic universe, and Majesty will feature many new characters and new units. In Majesty: The Fantasy Kingdom Sim, you can play as the three houses of Everglades, the Viking clan, the Blue Lions and the Waterworks. The gameplay in Majesty: The Fantasy Kingdom Sim is about managing a kingdom, building up funds and increasing your kingdom's fame and notoriety. Majesty: The Fantasy Kingdom Sim has both a single-player campaign and multiplayer.
