Wind Cloud 2

Wind Cloud 2 will now be much more focused on Internet connection in 2006. It was an idea announced in May that Chris Stephenson, the brains behind the original, would develop the development of the network-based sequel, Wind Dragon.

The massively multiplayer online game that the players are familiar with is being developed by a team of at least 500 people. When the official Wind 2 Web site went live on Monday, registered users of the site had a chance to win an exclusive in-game weapon. Players would also be able to download files to use for other downloads, and eventually, they would be able to download new in-game weapons, vehicles and more.

The sequel, Wind Dragon, will be released in North America next month. It will be set in China in the years of 1868 and will feature more characters and weaponry than any other massively multiplayer game in the past.
