Warcraft III

Warcraft III's last Warcraft III expansion pack has just gone gold. As mentioned previously, the new Battle for Azeroth expansion is the work of Blizzard North, the developers of Warcraft II. The new expansion will also add a number of new features that should make the game even more playable.

For the uninitiated, the Battle for Azeroth pack will feature new races, heroes, and environments. It will add five new zones, including the jungle, the tauren, the walrus, and the jungles of Bastion. As well as these, there will be a new advanced hero and a new faction (unlike the one in Warcraft III), as well as an even greater selection of content. Blizzard is also remastering the game with updated graphics, and it plans to ship Battle for Azeroth with a new orchestral score. The expansion is scheduled for release this fall.
