Virtual Pool 3
Virtual Pool 3 is a one-button action game that uses "pinball," essentially. You move the bill with your finger, and each point of the shot has a value equal to your control input. On the move, your character will execute an attack by rotating the table like a pinball table and then adding an action to the pinball table. If you can control your character in time with the swinging motion, your tables will explode into bits. It takes some getting used to but, once you get the hang of it, it's easy to see how this is one of the most popular arcade games.
Virtual Pool 3 has an assortment of single and multiplayer modes. A versus mode lets you take turns out of a pool cue or the classic American bowl, with 10-pin games to choose from. There are three difficulty levels--novice, pool, and rock--and the game will include a good deal of customization on the table. There is also an online mode that supports both cooperative and competitive multiplayer, as well as leaderboards for people to track their top scores. And just like the previous games, you can save the replays and view them via your memory card.

Donkey Kong Jungle Beat is a rhythm game that features some fun minigames in addition to standard platforming. The game features 40 new worlds and a variety of monkey costumes. Donkey Kong Jungle Beat is slated for a release in the fourth quarter of this year.

Golfers and table tennis games are also included. Poolers will feature seven new tournaments that will have an online ranking system.

Hockey fans will be pleased to hear that EA Sports Active will be released on the GameCube. The fitness-based game will also be released for the Microsoft Xbox. The game is being developed by EA Canada, the studio that created the original EA Sports Active, and it will be published by EA.
Star Wars: The Force Unleashed will also be released for the Xbox.
Racing games are also coming to the GameCube. "Racing games are a very unique sub-genre in the world of gaming," said Simon Jeffery, vice president of sales and marketing at EA. "Players have come to love the massive worlds that Star Wars has to offer and they're excited to have the opportunity to play them in a brand-new way."
EA Sports Active will also feature a number of new gameplay features, including a new Skate mode, which lets players create their own skateboard and share it with others online. In addition, there will be a new EA Sports Stories game mode that is being developed by Reflexive Entertainment. The game is being developed by Redlynx, the studio responsible for the recent Championship Manager games.
Meanwhile, Star Wars: The Force Unleashed is in development for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and Wii. As with the Xbox 360 version, it will be exclusive to the Wii. However, Nintendo's console is already doing the honours. LucasArts and VU Games are currently developing the multiplatform title, The Force Unleashed. The game is said to be taking a darker direction than the franchise's first installment.
A new and improved Star Wars: The Force Unleashed will be on display at E3 2010. While many of the details in the new gameplay feature are unclear, it will allow gamers to enter various areas of the Force in a nonstop action-packed game experience. Gamers will have the opportunity to deal with two different factions--the Jedi and the Sith--in a "lightsaber combat." These forces will also have a greater amount of room to maneuver, thanks to an interactive map.
The Force Unleashed's storyline will focus on the rise of Darth Vader, one of the most famous Jedi to exist. The evil lord is making an appearance, with several more playable characters on hand. Besides Rey, Hayden, and other Force-users, the game will focus on Darth Vader's new saga, beginning in the Battle of Yavin.
