Ultimate Mahjongg 5 - a game that was an enormous surprise when it launched last year. It quickly found its audience in Asia and Europe, and it's perhaps best remembered as a Japanese PC game. But Japan hasn't been the same.

Atari announced the existence of Ultimate Mahjongg 5 on the 24th of July in the company's year-end Media Festival press conference. It's not as flashy as its immediate predecessor, but it adds a small aspect of the game that's sure to thrill fans of the series.

In Ultimate Mahjongg 5, you can now build on your skills with dice, faces and other various other varieties of dice, before ascending your field of Mahjongg as a minigame master. You can play solo or multiplayer. There's also a world ranking and other handy features.
