Tux Racer

Tux Racer goes gold for the PC and GBA in the US next month. Players assume the role of Joe's only contact with the highest order racing federation, Tux himself. Tux assists his performance by either accelerating to the edge of the screen or the racing edge using a solid-state drive that enables players to tap into and modify Tux's nitro system. Players can build their own rally car and race against other players.

"We are extremely pleased with the response we've received for this title," said Paul Lange, vice president of marketing for Midway. "This is the first true racing experience that's truly new to console racing games."
