Turok Evolution
Turok Evolution, the sequel to Iguana's 1999 game of the same name, is on display at E3, where it's said to be a third-person shooter with action elements mixed in with fighting game elements.
Gameplay in Turok Evolution is divided into two basic types--skills and melee attacks. The first type is combat with either foot soldiers, a brute like the ones in Quake II, or a simple strike character, and the second type is melee attacks with a large number of enemies in the game. The weapons in Turok Evolution are basically swords, but the two weapons in the game are really big and are in addition to their body part, as well.
The weapons in the game range from assault rifles and shotguns to pistols, submachine guns, shotguns, and grenade launchers. There are six classes in Turok Evolution, each with their own weapon set of attributes. The rocket launcher is a high-powered rocket launcher that can move along an area, which is great for taking out enemy tanks. The shotgun is a rapid-fire version of the shotgun, and it fires a powerful-looking rocket that can shred through groups of enemies. The sniper rifle is a very powerful sniper rifle that can be fired with the trigger buttons and fires accurately at distant targets. The tranquilizer gun is a very powerful close-range weapon, and it has a long range, making it excellent for taking out large groups of enemies.
The secondary weapon is the plasma rifle, which is a rapid-fire version of the plasma rifle, except that it's more accurate and uses less power. The assault rifle is a three-round burst weapon that can be used to set enemies on fire. The grenade launcher also has a similar feel to the sniper rifle, as it has a spread-shot mode, but it is effective in most situations, such as when you fire a grenade on a large group of enemies. The plasma rifle is a pretty powerful weapon, but it also can't be relied upon to cause massive damage. The plasma gun also has a slow rate of fire, but it deals good damage at a distance. You'll have to worry about taking enemies out from a distance, since it has a slow rate of fire, but its long range makes it good for taking out foes from long range.
Pulse Rifle
The best weapon for using on your foes from long-range is an assault rifle. This weapon doesn't pack a huge amount of power or armor, but it's a reliable weapon that can take out most vehicles and even human foes. The zoom mode can be used in situations where you can fire a rocket-launcher against multiple enemies, such as in a drop zone, where you can fire off a cluster of rockets at once, killing the enemy instantly.
Silencer
The Silent Sniper is one of the only weapons that you can pick up during your adventures in Project Gotham Racing 2. This is one of the best weapons in the game, and it's virtually infinite in its area of effect and hit-and-run capabilities. Even if you find yourself out of ammo very quickly, you can press the trigger to heal yourself up, which is a pretty significant addition to the game. There's no point in retreating if you want to fight back against a rival car that's going to be taking you down from behind, and the Silent Sniper is even more powerful when paired with its normal rifle, although it can also be extremely accurate, and you can't use it at all when fighting off foes that are right on top of you.
Silencer
The Silent Sniper has a bit of a clip size advantage over the other sniper rifles, since it has a significantly smaller magazine, but it has a lot more ammo than the Silent Sniper.
Laser
The Laser is an extremely powerful rifle that's surprisingly accurate at the same time, allowing you to fire rapidly without worrying about overheating, which is very handy when dealing with enemies that are above you. It's not very difficult to aim at distant targets when firing at close range, but you'll have to be very careful about not hitting them at close range. When fired at a distance, though, it can cause a great deal of damage, especially if you fire rapidly enough to ensure that you're accurate.
Shotgun
The Laser is probably the most powerful sniper rifle in the game, and should be able to chew through just about any enemy that you encounter in a very short amount of time. It can fire rapidly, and also has a pretty high rate of fire. You'll have to hit your target pretty hard to hit it, though, as you're going to have to be on the move a lot, meaning that it's extremely difficult to actually hit them with your weapon.
Shotgun
The Laser has always been one of the best sniper rifles for playing headshots, because it can deal damage to anyone that gets too close, which is precisely what it is.
