The Suffering

The Suffering will finally be making its debut in North America next month. The highly anticipated sequel to last year's gruesome first-person action-horror adventure will make its way to the PlayStation this fall, and it will feature all-new story elements. This new story element will let you play as a hero who has been infected by a "completely new" virus. As with most stories of this type, the characters you'll meet are one-person, while the deadly virus itself will be a "counter-nuclear event." The game will also feature a branching storyline that will require you to confront characters with unique abilities.

The Suffering will be the first game from Polish developer The Astronauts. The game is currently scheduled for release in October.
