The Punisher
The Punisher is one of the better Marvel movies of the past few years. I have already seen several episodes of the series, but you could have too many of these dark characters. So, what makes it one of the best superhero movies of all time?
The Punisher is about Frank Castle, a secret vigilante who takes on a vigilante role in the run-up to the infamous “terrorist strike” that took place. After murdering countless innocents, and being killed multiple times, Frank was finally free of his crimes.
But, with every new comic book, comic book, or series, there comes a time when a big name video game gets hit with a bad translation. And that’s exactly what the 2000 movie based on Frank Castle has done. It has an excellent cast, solid pacing, action, and some surprisingly dark moments.
There are a number of places the original movie adaptation of the comic was built, but even the Watchmen influence was still there. The movie follows a former soldier who has been left to deal with a serial killer and his vampiric sidekick, Magog.

He starts his journey with The Punisher as he’s made from research into a missing U.S. military helicopter. Eventually, The Punisher finds his humanity in an ominous laboratory. And as Frank learns more about his former comrades and the situation around him, he finds himself, quite literally, at a loss. And all of this is coming from the eyes of a traumatized, hungry family.
Most importantly, this movie is a horrible adaptation of Frank Castle’s portrayal. On top of being a remake, it’s also a poorly made version of the comic. The tone of it is unnerving and a perfect juxtaposition to the more over-the-top works of H. P. Lovecraft. While that is more of a compliment than a compliment, Castle’s writing and acting are some of the weakest parts of the film.
Frank Castle is more of a foil to Daredevil than a hero. At first glance, audiences might find this plot point confusing. That’s because Daredevil isn’t a particularly deep character-building man. Frank is a serial killer, and his rage is not an emblem of Bruce’s, or even his strength, psyche.
His only motives are vengeance and inaction. The film never delves into these themes or even subverts them. It feels like a Devil May Cry knockoff. The repetitive nature of the story and the over-the-top action scenes aside, it doesn’t take long for Daredevil to grow stale.
Daredevil’s journey into a new universe was teased in 2014, albeit with few episodes. However, this origin story is not as coherent or fresh as the one that begins with The Punisher. There is so much to explore in the first season and the fact that the character seemingly has a heart of gold is surprising.

Of the five seasons where the hero has multiple paths in terms of his path, The Punisher has the best for the time. The series takes advantage of the darkness of the show, it has the best character development of any Daredevil season and the best pacing.
Many heroes will not die, it’s true. Not every hero can change and it’s impossible to sympathize with them, but if something bad happens, they won’t. This happened in Daredevil when the Devil of Hell was a Hulk. His storyline was interesting, it was scary, and it sparked the interest of many fans.
However, as the series progressed, it became obvious that one of the heroes could be defeated. One example is when he sacrificed himself in order to save the man he loved.
Luke Cage has the most complicated history in the Marvel universe. He was a hero, but many fans forget that he had one purpose. He sacrificed himself to save his wife, Cottonmouth, and his daughter. When he was trying to break his promise to Luke Cage, he failed and was killed.

Instead of going through with his plan, Luke chose to find another way to defeat his villain. He brought him a wife and a daughter, but one of them was not so happy with him and knew that Luke was going to join their family. It took his father and his father a lot of hurt to not be able to stop him.
Lashana Lynch is the daughter of Cottonmouth and Cottonmouth. Cottonmouth, however, was a hero. Cottonmouth was also a hero, but Cottonmouth was reluctant to kill her and Cottonmouth had a close relationship with her. This was a tumultuous time for Cottonmouth because he felt he was the hero and Cottonmouth was the hero that he wanted.
