The Movies Stunts And Effects is an adaption of the '60s kids' book, the work of R.E.T. director Don Cheadle. According to R.E.T. ’s official site, “the aesthetic is the perfect fit for the visual effects style,” according to R.E.T. show. “The Stunts and Effects Stunts was inspired by the early stage production of Bruce McConaughey’s The Hobbit , which were supposed to be in post-production.”

Scenes from the Stunts movie were revealed at a special screening at the 2004 New York Film Festival. “We had another competition in Hall H and this evening we were asked to promote the stunts and Effects Stunts videogame. It was immediately captured in a classic movie tape and told a comedy story about a girl named Jenny who winds up in the middle of an intergalactic warfare ring in an asteroid and her brother. Jenny quickly learns her brother is a hard-working explosives expert, but she knows he can't keep himself from firing at the same time. Jenny struggles with his occupation of law, her big mouth, and her other internal conflicts.”

As is usually the case with sci-fi, there were plans to bring Stunts into the movie, but it was shelved before the current draft was finalised, with that story written out of the final product. “When the plan was put together, we were considering various ideas for the movie and wanted to do something to bring the characters to life,” says Craig Smith, who plays Jenny. “We were not going to do it, and we thought the film would be good, but we felt that we would get what the audience wants and the tone of the film was right.”

The film was first announced in 2007, and had been originally slated for release in 2011. In 2009, Chris Roberts was asked to make a direct sequel to Star Wars . This was to be a huge success, as it created a whole new genre for the film – sci-fi movies. It went on to become the first original movie to gross over $300 million at the box office, while the sequel was eventually halted by Disney.

However, it was Star Wars: Episode VII, released in 2015, that ultimately convinced Roberts to make a sequel. Star Wars: Episode VII went on to release in 2017, with a full feature-length trailer released in April.

The premise of Star Wars: Episode VII was a fairly well-trodden one, with the original lead characters encountering their parents on Tatooine – with the ominous, dark presence of a thermal detonator looming nearby. It would have been easy for the filmmakers to start by making the movie a trilogy, but as it stands, the franchise is only partially committed to this theory, with a second trilogy eventually coming after the first one.

The idea of a multi-part, multi-location story that had multiple time periods, actors, and multiple locations is well-trodden ground in itself. It wouldn't have worked, but the characters could have gone back to places they've gone back to, with little-to-no movement behind them.

Roberts knew that the story was going to need to be told in a five-hour period, and so had opted for a four-hour period instead. There's no reason to believe that a second trilogy might not be possible. The lack of commitment means that the filmmakers can't just film it in six hours, and there's no reason to believe that will happen, which would have been too much of an issue for one to solve.

Paya and the Last Dragon feels like a foregone conclusion for the franchise, which is something that hasn't really been done before. It wasn't like the pandemic was hurting people's lives, either, which was the thing that attracted the majority of audiences. It was a great change for the franchise, which would have been a massive undertaking.

The creative team behind the film, Noah Hawley, has stated that this movie's scale is much larger than the average film, and that he'll make the film with a budget of $20 million. This huge undertaking is the same scale as the original, which made the original a great experience to behold.

With that said, the film does have a lot of scenes that might have been shot in the present day, so there's certainly no reason for the studio to spend as much time in a pre-production stage as possible, to keep the fun alive and still feel like a great adventure movie.
