The Legend of Sword and Fairy 2
The Legend of Sword and Fairy 2 is a rather interesting action RPG. The original game was full of a dark, fantasy story, and its characters were all fabulously detailed. It was able to tell a good story that had its own vibrant, funny personality, and varied cast of heroes and monsters. Even the characters' moves were quite distinctive. I'm not sure I want to be the first to admit, but I absolutely loved the original game. The game was not perfect, but it was still a fun, exciting, and challenging RPG that I had little trouble getting through. The sequel I always wanted is The Legend of Dragoon Saga.
The Legend of Dragoon Saga is a short game, but it’s a fun ride that plays out by taking place on a landmass. To do so, you move a lily pad around on the screen and tap at the enemy to attack it. To do so, you have to stay in your inventory and use an action button to move. If you're able to attack an enemy with the L button, it will attack that enemy, but it won't move. The L button allows you to hold down the L button to guard. If you're too hit by an enemy, you'll automatically attack you instead. It's very cool and extremely cool.
The second game was an RPG of the 3D era and the first to really branch out into RPGs. We ended up with The Legend of Dragoon Saga. It's a very simplistic RPG that you don't control with the L button, you just push the L button to attack. The character you control is the lead character in the game, a prince named Golew. However, Golew is indeed the sole lead character in the game. This is in stark contrast to Kratos in the God of War games. While Kratos is a brute, Golew is a monk, and he's also an experienced fighter.
The visuals in The Legend of Dragoon Saga were impressive, and it really shows in the cutscenes. The game's character models are well animated and look good. You'll see a good deal of body parts, such as his eyes or his lips. The environments are interactive and colorful, although there's not much of a draw on the characters and environments. There's also a good deal of interactivity in the game, such as picking up items to add to your inventory or grabbing them when they're pulled. If you decide to pick up a piece of food, you can then use that item in combination with the other item to create a new item. For example, in some of the earlier levels in the game, you'll be able to pick up some stuff and then pick up another item for the same item or purchase it. So you can get more items for a long time.
In terms of audio, The Legend of Dragoon Saga sounds very strong. The game has an all-star voice cast that includes familiar names such as Sir Leonard Nimoy, who voices Klonoa. All of the voice actors in the game are reprising their roles, and the music is a mix of original tracks from the game that evoke the spirit of the original Final Fantasy. If you're worried about playing the game with someone else, you can play the original soundtrack with your own ears.
Also in the game are a few new gameplay additions. The first is the gameplay in Dragoon Saga. The traditional Dragoon combat system was the foundation of the series, so you move around with the left analog stick and attack with the right analog stick. It also has some new twists in the game, such as the ability to double jump. The latter uses the Dragoon's demon staff to boost your mobility, while the former lets you climb up walls and leap into the air.
In terms of presentation, the game looks fairly similar to the original Final Fantasy X. The character models, environments, and animation all have a somewhat different look. The new environments are a mix of old and new, while the small locations have some welcome tweaks as well. The small characters themselves, however, have a unique look to them, and they look great. The character models are also well done, featuring high-quality polygonal models that really bring the characters to life. You'll also notice some new facial features, such as the one seen in the recent trailer. The animation is also a little better than before, in that it uses the same animations as the CG movies.
The music, on the other hand, is solid. The tracks are suitably atmospheric and feature some familiar tunes, like "Life's a Beach Boys" and "Flight of the Blood Sea," which seems like the sort of tunes you'd want to listen to while running around in a fighting game. The battle system is also well done, with well-animated animations and a variety of different elements.
