TEKKEN III

TEKKEN III , the critically acclaimed Japanese role-playing game from Nippon Ichi Software, is in development and will be released on the PlayStation 2. As in the previous titles in the series, the player assumes the role of Aki, who is at the center of a strange, game that starts when the gods suddenly find themselves on the brink of destruction. The game will have a total of more than 40 hours of gameplay, as well as several different endings.

Players will need to travel to a mysterious island and attempt to find out what has happened. Kojima has said the game will feature a revamped combat system that will not only accommodate the original game's combat system, but will also be more unique to the games it will feature.

The PlayStation 2 game is scheduled for release in August.
