Switchfire
Switchfire is a platform exclusive action adventure title developed by Team17, the developer behind Worms and Worms Ultimate Mayhem. While the first two games were announced in late 2019, Team17 has not revealed whether the game will release until 2022. Now, the developer is giving fans a sneak peek at its future titles through a recently released trailer.
Hollow Knight is one of the most popular indie titles ever made. However, it is considered one of the best games of the last decade, despite a lack of official information. Team17 has only released a handful of titles over the years, but these titles have earned the developer a reputation of being one of the most highly rated indie games. Fans can also expect to see Hollow Knight: Silksong appear at some point in 2023.

The latest trailer for Switchfire looks to focus on the upcoming Hollow Knight: Silksong. This trailer provides fans a better look at its story and setting, and it seems to be taking a more serious approach to the game than Hollow Knight. The art style of Hollow Knight is very similar to that of its sequel, which many fans of the original game enjoyed. The game is scheduled to release sometime in 2023.
Originally slated for release in August 2021, Cult of the Lamb was delayed to the second half of 2022. However, Cult of the Lamb was given a new release date of March 2023, making it one of the most highly-anticipated indie games of the year. The Cult of the Lamb's trailers, which are now available online, promise a darker tone than the previous two trailers, showing off larger-than-life cult leaders and monsters. The game has been compared to Dark Souls, but it seems like Cult of the Lamb is following a similar path.
Not much is known about Cult of the Lamb's plot, except that it centers around building a cult and using the power of the titular town to perform commune with the townsfolk. Players will be able to make decisions regarding how cult members treat certain people, but one thing players can do instead is cleanse the cult's weeds and poll the surrounding areas. Cult of the Lamb will have plenty of quests for players to complete, and there are plenty of cult members to unlock as the game goes on. The variety of cult members available for players to recruit is also reminiscent of FromSoftware's Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice, which also had a similar emphasis on boss fights.

Another aspect of Cult of the Lamb that has a lot of fans online is its animal followers. The trailer showed a wide variety of adorable and cartoony animal characters with seemingly no end in sight, and fans are still hoping to see more of them. When Cult of the Lamb launches later this year, players will be able to unlock new followers, which are creatures they can use to fight for players and collect materials. Some of the new followers shown off in the trailer include Cails, Grotesque Formers, and Sermons, with fans hoping for some new unique and unique interactions with these animals.
Cult of the Lamb will also introduce NPC followers that will accompany players on their Crusade runs. These follower types will act as a follower of the player's followers who help the Lamb in combat and also help them improve the game's Lamb's overall cult management. In order to recruit new followers and keep the cult running, players will need to collect Satisfaction Tokens and sacrifice cult members. These points can then be spent at the community center to grow a follower's cult, increasing their relationship with the player, and hopefully adding to the game's rewards.

Players who want to keep up with the game's pre-release marketing have some special events lined up for their drops. Devolver Digital will be hosting the Behind The Scenes Showcase on March 24 with a completely hands-off approach to the game's release. The showcase will be hosted by voice actors from the game and an award for completing an in-game quest that will require a lot of player interaction and interaction. Devolver Digital will also be bringing a behind-the-scenes documentary to the event featuring the game's developers and narrated by a variety of "first-hand" and/or game designers.
Since Cult of the Lamb will be published by Devolver Digital, it is fair to assume that the publisher will be offering an even deeper dive into the game's development. Devolver Digital has teased that the upcoming showcase will focus on "lots of new announcements" and release windows. Many of the game's trailers have included hints as to what fans can expect from the game's development and content, so a lot of the game's most recent updates have been specifically focused on the game's development.
