Strategic Command European Theater

Strategic Command European Theater was initially announced in 2003, but the company recently unveiled an expansion pack for the game. The European Theater (aka Mercenaries: Playground of Destruction) is the first expansion for Strategy First's strategy game, and it will give European Theater players control of three different theaters of combat: the continental US, Europe, and the Middle East. In the expansion pack, players will become part of the Western Theater, which comprises the United States, the British Isles, and Asia.

"We are very pleased with the success of this expansion, as this expansion has opened the door for Strategic Command to expand on the strategy genre," said Brad Wiebe, president of Strategy First. "The expansion will be based on the work of Steve Johnson, a student of computer game designer of Bill Mulligan, and it will add new missions, new theaters, and more. We expect that gamers will have even more fun when they see this expansion."
