Space Haste 2

Space Haste 2 has just dropped a brand new trailer showing off the classic gameplay elements of its sequel.

The game will also feature single-player support. The new game will take place in five new worlds in the distant future where the United States has colonised the planet. It’s been over thirty years since the last Space Haste, and the United States has been called upon to stay in the safest place they can.

While the plot is a mystery, the trailer hints at this to be the best of both worlds. Many familiar characters from the first game return, including Sigourney Weaver and Leander Johnson, as well as 15-something captains with the ability to turn on and off the ground during combat.

Space Haste 2 is due for release in Q2 2010 on PC, Mac, and Playstation.
