Shrek the Third
Shrek the Third is the third entry in the long-running platformer franchise and follows the hero of the movie, becoming the titular ogre. Shrek the Third, which was released in October 2000, is a 3D platformer, and it was originally announced for the Nintendo GameCube at E3. The first gameplay footage of the game was shown at the 2005 Electronic Entertainment Expo and quickly proved to be a bit of a damp squib.
However, as expected, the game is still pretty much what you would expect from a game of the series. The basic gameplay is similar to last year's Mario Party, and it is once again your standard platforming experience. You start by playing as Shrek himself, a plastic donkey who must jump, jump, and then hit enemies to knock them off the map. The developers are attempting to improve on the formula in Shrek the Third and improve on it with new moves, and the Wii version will include more characters, levels, and more levels. You'll get to create your own levels and then upload them to the Wii's Miis.
While it's no secret that the Wii's motion-sensing controls were a little rough around the edges, Dementium: The Ward has come a long way since its solid release last year. Dementium: The Ward's controls are solid, and the gameplay remains just as engaging. The game does feature some voice work for the different characters and a lot of the same puzzles. The game also features some unique features, like voice acting and a morph-reality mode that let you transform yourself into a different version of the protagonist.
Shrek the Third is due out on the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and Wii this holiday season.

The biggest difference between Dementium and Dead Space is that the former will feature a single-player story, whereas the latter will be played online. Like Dead Space before it, Dementium is all about death, though its multiplayer features include co-op multiplayer, which takes place in an abandoned mining town. Though the main story is linear, there will be variations on the kind of weapons and survival you can expect to find. For example, you can take on the alien creature called the boomas, or, if you kill the boomas, you can call for help in a fight against the human-controlled bots. There's no lock-on functionality, so if you want to run around and shoot everything that moves, you'll have to time it just right.

Fortunately, your inventory will be pretty much locked as you fight through the numerous undead-controlled bots. But if you want to find more, you can always take on the boomas on the human-controlled bots to help you with some puzzles and let you do your dirty work. Once you've cleared the enemies and the boomas are dead, you'll receive an award for a medal, which you can then use to purchase some more weapons and items.
When you first enter the boomas, you'll be greeted by a spinning blade on the floor. Quickly hop from the spinning blade to the spinning blade and then to the spinning blade itself. Again, take out all the enemies with your blades, because you'll need to take out the boomas from behind if you want to make it to the elevator. After a few attempts, you'll arrive at a room that will contain a few crystals. Collect them all and a second armor upgrade will be yours.
In order to move forward, you'll first need to take care of the boomas. The key to finishing the level is to jump from the spinning blade to the spinning blade. Unfortunately, you can't do any more moves here, so instead, you'll need to grab another shield upgrade, which you can now find after activating the robot.
Once you've got the shield upgrade, head out the hallway and through the tunnel.
Right at the end of the tunnel, head down the ramp and go down the hallway, then take out the two flying enemies in the area below you. There will be a gap in the wall that you can drop down.
