Rula 3, an evolution of the long-running PC franchise, is due out in Q1 2004. The latest is the third game in the series and will be focused on the spectacularly realistic graphics engine. As a result, there is going to be more emphasis on the beautiful environments and all-around graphics.

"The Sims is a solid series that offers the opportunity to do what no other game has done," said Julian Fischbach, producer of last year's game, The Sims: Livin' Large. "Rula 3 was designed with such an objective in mind, that it was a natural extension of the gameplay experience."
