Rockman X5

Rockman X5 is apparently dead, but we know what you're thinking: Now, according to Engadget, Rockman X5 is dead.

Engadget reports that Rockman X5 is currently in the works and, according to them, is "in development" for the Xbox 360. And according to both their publishers, Rockman X5 will be released in 2009.

Rockman X5, however, will be Rockman X5's own take on the franchise. The storyline will remain unchanged, with action taking place across three different "extreme settings." Although Rockman X5 has not been confirmed, it appears we'll have some answers to that on September 28.

And who knows, it could be the very next-generation Rockman game. So, expect more details about it to hit the web very soon.
