Rayfan Tiago, a producer on Ubisoft's upcoming pirate simulator, has said that the company has had a hand in Ubisoft's decision to publish it. Tiago's suggestion that his game could be the next great RPG could suggest that a sequel could be possible, as a sequel might be in the works.

Ubisoft has already announced that it has had its first deal with Pirates of the Caribbean writer Robert Zemeckis to adapt the game for the new consoles, the PlayStation 2 and Xbox, and the Game Boy Advance.
