qqzyhx (opens in new tab) is an alternate history game by game developer Might and Delight. While this isn't a real-time strategy game, it's set in an alternate version of the first War in the Pacific, which was in the mid-1940s, and has since gone on to become one of the most influential historical games ever made.
In the game, players control two of the pilots of the small Japanese fighting force in the fictional island of Okinawa, and after their chances of landing an airborne aircraft carrier have been crushed, they are dropped into an early grave where they are pitted against the best fighters in the area. After successfully making it to the island, players must build up a base, hold their ground, and secure the land for themselves. Once that's done, the lander (as well as the soldiers) must gather resources, upgrade the aircraft carrier, and eventually land it at the center of the island, where it becomes the center of all conflicts.
Rome II is really the game for all players. Players start with a single plane and must recruit a good number of troops. They then must churn out a war squad to begin their journey. Players start out with only two different types of planes, the classic in itself but with new additions and tweaks to enhance their play-style. Along the way, they must collect the most resources, build structures, and then recruit another team in order to expand their empire.
Rome II is a real-time strategy game and has the best graphics in the genre. Players must be ready to fight and win battles using whatever strategies are available. The one downside to this game is that it can get very difficult when first starting out and the players are really starting to understand how they can make a great army.
GS: What are some of the most interesting strategies and tactics in this game?
MN: These are some of the most unique tactics in the genre and also some of the most interesting players in the world. The player needs to be prepared to deal with more advanced situations, siege towers, troop transport, and even spy-bases. In this game, your main goal is to defeat your enemy's military with the help of all your soldiers.
GS: What makes Age of Mythology so great? What do you think the fans will appreciate?
MN: I think the game is definitely one of the best strategy games ever made. The huge amount of content and depth it offers to players really adds an incredible amount of depth and challenge to the gameplay. I believe that it is a very fun game to play and replay, especially if you're new to the genre or don't know the basics. I hope people like it, and I think that it will become a staple of the RTS genre for some time to come.
GS: How has the game been received so far? What are the most fun things to do in the game?
MN: I think the game has been a tremendous success with the PC gaming community. It's so easy to play that it's extremely fun to play and is often the most fun game to play.
GS: What's the biggest challenge to you? What can you do to fix it?
MN: I would say we're constantly iterating on the different parts of the game. Our design team is a lot of fun to work with, but I know some of the things that we're doing don't feel particularly good to me. So, I'm sure we have a lot of people around here who enjoy our previous RTS games.
GS: Do you have any plans to launch the game in Europe?
MN: No, we're not planning to do a worldwide launch, but we're focusing on our current Q2 release window. I know a lot of people here want a localized version of the game, but I have no plans to bring that to the US market.
GS: Do you foresee the game not going out in the West until next year?
MN: No, not really. We're trying to add as many new features and features as possible, but not too many surprises.
GS: How many units will be included?
MN: There will be 10 units in the game.
GS: What is the new single-player campaign?
MN: The campaigns are not historically oriented, but I can tell you the story. The scenario is based on the epic battles of WWII in Paris. The scenario itself focuses on a French invasion of France, which was fought by French resistance. The first level is a one-on-one race against French forces, and the second level lets you play as French tanks and eventually Russian battles. The new single-player mission will have a custom scenario, so you can play as one of the armies. The single-player missions are not actually part of the game.
GS: How important are the new units and unit classes?
