Princess Maker 5 was released in February 2011, where you take on the role of a spirit fairy, using your skills to do battle against the ghosts and protect Princesses. The last game in the series, Princess Maker 3, released in 2015, but you can now download a free trial version of Princess Maker 5 and play the rest of the game for free. This trial version will allow you to use the full game as well as the prequel, Princess Maker: Dress-Up.

This free demo will let you take a tour of the game's battle system, learning techniques and customizing your hero. The game will also feature five worlds that feature fully animated characters and some completely new mini-games. The six worlds in the demo will feature seven characters and 12 mini-games, and the playable characters included in the demo will include a winged elephant, a cat, a giant octopus, a horse, and a woman in a red dress. There will also be two minigames in the full version of the game, a Chocobo racing-like competition and a balloon battle.

New playable characters will include a dragon that can crush enemies or snowmen that are falling. You can upgrade the dragon by completing quests, and you can go on a wild dragon sled, one that digs in at a nearby cyclops, and one that turns into a minotaur. You can also evolve your dragon by getting bonuses that can be redeemed for other characters' items.

The demo, shown in the most recent episode of the series, showed the first major town from the new single-player campaign, as well as new environments like forests and cityscapes. The city looked lush and alive, with varied landscapes and diverse architecture. The new character models will be the classic warriors of this particular era, though many of them appear to be just what you'd expect. As you're doing your killing, you can use your dragon powers to call on your followers to come to your aid.
