Platinum Pinball is a Sega pinball simulation game that, despite its use of vintage tables, is very fun to play. The game is currently being developed by Platinum Games (Bayonetta, Okami, Vanquish) and has been shown at E3 to be an easy-to-master-real-world pinball simulation with a great variety of pinball physics and gameplay mechanics. You play as an indie developer who is recently invited to compete against the best players in the world and take part in the latest summer competition at Sega pinball. With no shortage of high-profile tournaments that will test your pinball skills and ability to make a name for yourself on Sega pinball tables, you'll have to make use of your homemade arcade machine to blow, shoot, and play your way through a variety of games.

You'll also be able to compete against other players in multiple game modes. This will involve up to four people competing against a computer opponent, and one player can use a controller to control the game using a virtual control pad. This can be a pretty good mix of fun and competition, as it gives the game a great depth and the emphasis on strategic gameplay that should make it a blast to play. You can even play against a friend using the game's wireless capabilities.

The visuals in the game are shaping up nicely, and it will be interesting to see how they look. The game is looking sharp, with a healthy amount of variety in the environments and the characters, which are an impressive feat considering the depth of the environments. The game also uses the new controller's analog triggers to great effect. The virtual analog control makes it easier to hit your attack buttons, while the buttons allow you to hit the same attacks over and over again, without having to bring up the radial menu of command buttons.

The sound in the game will be good, and it has a solid, if slightly cartoony feel to it. The voice in the game is currently not finalized, but it will be varied and dynamic. You'll hear the familiar voices, such as Beaty, Terri, Anakin, and Vader, in the game. As you might expect, the tunes are a mix of heavy metal with broad, jazz-infused sound effects. The game will feature plenty of breakdancing powerhouses, with a good mix of country folk and lots of rap. You'll hear all manner of funky rap songs, including cymbals and loops. In addition, the game will include small but loud guest appearances from characters from the Clone Wars animated series.

When it comes to gameplay, Knights of the Old Republic will feature a solid combat system that fits the role-playing game bill. As you progress through the game, you'll find yourself on the Republic's first planet, the Rakghoul system, which has the "force power" of the Jedi. While in the dark, your Force powers will consist of a force ability and a special attack, which you'll use to make your foes into a blood stain. As you go through the game, you'll earn "force points," which you can use to unlock new moves, abilities, and implants. You'll collect Force points by doing battles, as well as by making use of various gameplay features, such as friendly and hostile characters. As you'll explore the game, you'll find yourself exploring the galaxy on a quest to recover the Dark Crystal.

In addition to the core gameplay mechanics, LucasArts is looking to deliver a number of unique features. For example, you'll be able to interact with a computer-controlled droid that will perform various tasks on you. As you move through the game, you'll find areas that will have power-ups, which you can equip, and parts of the environment that will give you new powers. The droid will also be able to make use of environmental elements, such as fire, water, and lava. In addition, you'll be able to use some basic droid's abilities to battle off computer-controlled enemies. As for what you'll be doing in the game, you'll be able to enter new areas by hacking terminals that will yield experience points and coins. Your adventure will include standard, linear path-style gameplay.

As you explore the game's environs, you'll find that you'll find that there are areas that are broken up by boss battles. As you progress through the game you'll find that a good portion of these areas will feature some puzzles that require you to enter specific codes that will yield some form of upgrade. Besides simply hacking terminals, the game will challenge you to solve puzzles and platform specific challenges. You'll find that there will be some unique items to find.

The graphics in the game feature some nice touches, thanks to a new rendering engine that moves the game fluidly. The character models are a good complement and feature a good amount of attention to detail.
