Noughts and Crosses
Noughts and Crosses have recently taken a breath away from serious games in which the company is listed as being a big enough developer to act on the games' development. In a statement today, the developer of Spellbound said that it's approached Nippon Ichi Software president Kazuyuki Takahashi and manager of Tecmo-Ichi Software Hiroshi Yamauchi directly and gives his approval to a game that will be published in the US by Namco.
"Nippon Ichi Software will be a major shareholder in the development of the next Guilty Gear title, currently scheduled for a worldwide release on Nintendo's Game Boy Advance system," said Takahashi.
Nippon Ichi Software has been developing a number of classic role-playing games over the past few years, including the Drakengard and Diablo series. The company has also released two NES RPGs in the form of Dragon Quest and the Wonder Boy series.
