Nippon no Asokode

Nippon no Asokode is an adventure game in which players assume the role of a man named Joe as he embarks on a quest to save his village from a demonic invasion. Players must unravel the mystery behind the invasion by the shadows and hunt for ancient artifacts.

The game was released on the PlayStation 2 and GameCube in October and also received an expansion pack for PlayStation 2 and Xbox.

In 2009, Nippon no Asokode 2: Evil Chultode will be released in Japan. It is being developed by Afro Samurai, who worked on the Shadowbane.
