New Frontier have opened the official site for Frontier’s Planet Zoo.

The blog entry gives details of the zoo management feature in the game, which is made possible by the use of the nectar meter in the front-facing menu. Players will need to monitor the condition of the cottages and what they have left to do to ensure the happiness of their citizens, keeping the happiness of those who live nearby.

The zoo management feature has been designed to make it easier for players to get the hands on what they need. Once they have successfully created a zoos, they can watch the animals grow in a park, and they can also go at it any time, but there’s no time limit. Players will be able to log in with their Frontier account to see what they have left to do.

It’s still early days for the new features, but it’s nice to see Frontier continuing to make strides towards the game. Here’s hoping it makes it to other Frontier titles in the future.
