Mystereet Portable
Mystereet Portable gaming console is due to release in October.
Developed by Cyan, the company behind the recently released Myst games, Myst (though with the exception of the Myst III: Exile demo and the Myst II: Exile manual) has been developing its debut console game on the device for nearly two years now.
Mystereet Portable Gaming for the Game Boy Advance will be the only handheld game on the platform announced by Cyan, which publishes Cyan's games on the Sega Saturn. While the company has announced no plans to release Myst for the Game Boy Advance, it has announced that it plans to release games for the device, including Myst: The Awakening.
According to Myst, the handheld will feature an intuitive interface, allowing for reading from hard-to-read text on the screen. The control scheme is similar to the original Myst. However, it's far different. Instead of a top-down view, players can turn the bottom of the screen into a top-down view of the game. The game is divided into three sections: a character's life, which determines how long the game lasts and how much money they can buy a cell phone. In addition to those three sections, the game features more than 70 puzzles to solve. For example, after a puzzle in the jungle, players must jump into a nearby cave, and they must navigate through a narrow bridge, where they must climb and find a way out. In addition, the game features some 2D characters, such as a skunk and a rabbit.
