MX vs ATV Unleashed

MX vs ATV Unleashed is a rebranding of the classic MX vs ATV game for the PlayStation 2. Rather than using the existing MX vs ATV games, THQ is promising improved graphics and enhanced gameplay. And judging from the new trailer, there will be several new elements to the game--from more online play, to larger-scale combat--that make it stand apart from the competition.

EA's new game will use the 2003 game's namesake, MX vs. ATV-X, and that game is set to feature a brand-new map, the Alaskan port. Like last year's game, THQ is promising a bigger-than-life roster of off-road riders and bikes, and an improved visual style that gives the game a more look-good-than-average look. In fact, the improved graphics will be complemented by a "saucy" boost effect, which will make your rider more visible in the dirt. The game will feature over 20 different environments, and THQ is promising that as the seasons continue, there will be "pulsar" and even harsher weather conditions, which will force riders to stay in more dense areas.

The game's gameplay will take advantage of an extensive online component that will let players compete with others from around the world. The EA reps did not reveal details on what this system would look like, but said that the game will feature "true-to-life" online play for up to 32 players on the same server, and online tournaments will let you play all the riders from the single-player game. THQ representatives did say that online competitions would be linked to the online lobby, which will let you send in up to eight players to race against each other and test out their skills against one another. One of the most intriguing online elements in the game will be the way that you'll be able to earn "cash"--a kind of in-game currency that can be earned by winning in-game races. According to THQ reps, cash can be used to buy in-game content, such as cars, accessories, or boosts, and will also in-game currency, which is used to buy new items in the shop.

While most games that we've seen (or heard about) are coming to a wide variety of platforms, console games are usually going to receive most of the attention on the Xbox 360. Last year's L.A. Noire is still getting the Xbox 360 version, so all the versions are expected to receive some sort of online component. Reps also talked about some of the upcoming enhancements in the Xbox 360 version, which include the much-requested frame rate for all those lovable NPCs. While we're not quite sure what the frame rate is going to be, we can expect the game to run at a smooth 60 frames per second, which is pretty standard for the Xbox 360 games. The Xbox 360 game will also have an enhanced texture resolution that should give it a more consistent look.

While the Xbox 360's controller was featured prominently, the Xbox 360 controller will also come in handy in many of the games we've seen. The left analog stick will let you move your character around the environment, while the right analog stick will let you move him around. In addition, the right analog stick will let you look around the environment and give you a better look. The triggers will let you interact with objects as well. The triggers will let you use the various weapons you'll get in the game, although we couldn't tell them apart from the items we tried out.

While the Xbox 360 version of the game will obviously offer a handful of different modes, the Xbox 360 game will have its share of the exclusive content.

The online component of the Xbox 360 game will offer players the option of allowing them to host games in both split-screen and online mode. In addition, the game will offer a network option that lets you play with up to four players. The game will also offer an option to link up with up to four players in a game and use the Xbox Live service to exchange game data and downloadable content. Finally, the Xbox Live features are being tweaked to make it easier to find games online, the main points of contention on the Xbox 360 gamepad.

Based on what we saw of the game, Burnout Revenge is looking to be a pretty faithful follow-up to Criterion Games' Burnout Revenge. The game will offer a new set of game types in addition to the requisite racing events and online modes. The online component will offer a series of standard online options, which can be toggled on and off to set the new online mode.

The audio in Burnout Revenge will feature voice chat with some familiar names, and the game's soundtrack will be equally robust. While the single-player experience in Burnout Revenge will feature around 10 different tracks, the game will offer a collection of different radio stations, and they'll vary quite a bit.
