Mr Driller

Mr Driller for the Game Boy Color has been announced.

The title will be released on the Nintendo’s Japanese handheld in mid-April.

The game is based on the TurboGrafx-16 games of the same name, but will also feature graphics and sound effects.

"It's great to be able to take a game like Mr Driller to another level and then make it even more fun," said Chris Heireton, vice president of sales and marketing at Capcom.

"Driller's move to Nintendo's Virtual Console for the Game Boy is a perfect marriage of the two companies' mission."

"For both Mr Driller and TurboGrafx-16 titles, it will have their own unique characteristics that greatly broaden the appeal of the games," said Mark Caplan, marketing manager of Red Entertainment. "But at the same time, it will also be used in a way that only the most passionate gamers will understand."
