Motocross Mania
Motocross Mania is the next installment in the best-selling Motocross video game series. It is, in many ways, the realization of a whole new world of games and extreme sports games.
Motocross Mania is the first title in a new series from Frontier Developments. Previous games have been known for their extreme sports titles, but unlike those games, the game lets players modify their bikes in real time by picking up credits and spending points earned at the game's leaderboards. And once they complete the single-player game, players will be able to unlock more bikes, which they can use to their advantage. Also, there are actually 18 different riders in the game, and many more will be added in future versions.
Motocross Mania will feature two modes of play, and they include time attack, standard, and battle. The first is called HORSE, and it features several different races, each of which has different rules to cater for.
You have three sets of bike types in the game, and each has its own abilities. For example, standard bikes will let you use powerful jumps to cross a corner, while the more powerful bikes will have you go up a ramp. In addition, the standard bike types are more forgiving and cheaper to control, but you will need to keep your finger on the accelerator to perform one trick. Finally, the battle mode lets you race with up to four players on the same track, and it will also feature a host of unlockable items. The final game type is battle, in which you compete with other riders to see who can get the highest time and number of points.
While playing the game, you will earn medals that can be used to customize your riders. There are 10 in all, and you will be able to customize your rider in a number of different ways. You'll earn a picture of yourself, as well as various bits of music, and you'll also be able to design your own rider. You'll find one-to-one replays of key moments from the race in order to capture specific moments that will add to your lap totals. The battle mode is where you'll battle against a friend, and it's the same single-player experience as the mode seen in the game.
Control in the game is fairly simple. You'll move your rider with the left analog stick and jump with the right trigger. The face buttons will be used to jump, boost, and block. The face buttons will be used to perform special moves, such as tricks. You'll have to use your analog stick to perform them. The A button will be used to perform your special moves. The B button will be used to perform your own special moves. Finally, the Y button will let you perform your bike's powerful powerful double-kicking. The Y button will be used to perform the grind, and the Y button will serve as your brake. The X button will be used to perform the bike's heavy kicks, which will be used to get around tight corners. The X button will be used to perform your other moves. Finally, the Y button will serve as your turbo and will serve as your boost and will be used to collect items on your way to higher areas. The game is pretty forgiving at this point, so you'll be able to get used to the control system as you go.
