Moonbase Commander

Moonbase Commander is a simple real-time strategy game that is getting some post-release support. It will support expansion packs such as the War of the Chosen expansion and the upcoming Swarm expansion, along with updates like scenario expansion and private lobbies. We were able to play the game at this year's E3, and are impressed with what the developer has been working on so far. The game is based on the very first Earth games, and its base-building model is extremely versatile. You have a set number of resources, including weapons, buildings, and buildings. You build bases of just one resource per sector, so there's no limit to the number of moves you can make.

One of the things the developer has worked hard on for Moonbase Commander is the engine. These can be loaded with various systems, and you can tweak them to suit your needs. For example, you can fine-tune your attack power (you can raise a certain number of units of the same type, but there are a number of systems that you can set up, such as formations and zoom), but you'll be limited to around 1,000 units per sector, which makes it fairly challenging to target a particular base on a given map. The enemy AI is also at work to improve the game's difficulty. In a nod to the Infinity Blade games, there is an alternative difficulty setting, and even more advanced game features will be added as the expansion progresses. The expansion features eight new units, as well as eight new structures. However, the technology tree in the expansion is completely reworked, and you'll find more than 30 new upgrades that make the game easier. In fact, there are now more than 150 new buildings. In the tutorial missions, you'll see new elements introduced in more detail, such as improved terrain and the ocean, such as aqueducts that you can add to your buildings to make them more visible. As mentioned earlier, the expansion will also introduce more siege units, including catapults, which attack from afar, and bombardments, which are powerful siege weapons.

Homeworld's combat system has been given an overhaul, and it includes the ability to summon more than one creature at a time. With all of the new creatures added, you'll be able to capture towns, get supplies from people who live on them, and send some friendly soldiers to hold control. Additionally, there will be an improved AI, so the AI will be smarter and more intelligent. In addition, the expansion will introduce other major features that should please even the most hardcore fans of Homeworld. For example, the expansion will let you take over enemy positions on land, sea, and air. You'll also be able to send out your own capital ship, though you'll have to manage the surrounding resources on foot, if you want to destroy the enemy.

As mentioned earlier, Homeworld is much more than just an RTS. The expansion will also include a number of new gameplay features. For example, your ship is actually constructed up to four times better than it is at any given time, and you'll be able to upgrade the units you send to engage in battle, just like in Homeworld. You'll be able to call down artillery strikes, control powerful artillery, and use powerful items like sentry guns to bring down your enemy forces. Homeworld's new unit types, such as giant automatons that spawn bees, will give the battles more of a cinematic feel. However, instead of just giving you six units and putting them in direct combat, the expansion will feature six mech units, including a massive enemy robot that may attack a nearby Rebel base. The final mech unit is a massive mammoth robot that may be of use to your full firepower, but it can be equipped with heavy weapons and can use long-range weapon strikes.

As in Homeworld, there are a number of ways to use the expansion's new vehicles. As in the previous game, you can choose to place your mechs on a planet and drop them on the planet, and the different ground units will be unique as well. You can drop a bomber in a heavy tank to get an immediate hit; as in the previous game, you can drop an antivehicle rocket in the air, which results in an instant blow on the surface. Once you land a large mech, you can automatically pick up a brief burst of ground units on the planet's surface, and you can then move in for repairs. The same applies to land units, but they can also take to the skies and carry the primary weapon.

The expansion's four new battle modes are all very similar. One is called Exterminate, and it features capture the flag as the game's centerpiece, and one is called Extraction, in which teams must destroy as many enemies as they can in a given time. The other is Global Strike, which is a large-scale, fast-paced battle in which you and your team have to defend two bases at once.
