Monster Truck Rumble is Activision's take on the classic truck driving/car/racing game with a new twist. The idea is to do the best you can with your own monster truck, which is an enormous beast. Using the right weapons you can make it home alive, all the while helping your friends.
You'll want to learn how to craft a monster truck to boost your profits, which includes the parts you're going to need to make that ride, and how to buy new parts, that are crucial to building the monsters. A team of monsters will take the burden off of you and go into battle against you. Each monster will also have its own attributes that you can check out. However, not everything will be easy to discover when you're playing the game. Monster Truck Rumble is said to offer a wide range of weapons, from speedy weapons that get the job done, to more powerful weapons that are not so easily countered, to the blunt weapons that will take out other monster trucks on your journey.
The game also features a proper story, and your comrades won't exactly help you along the way, but will help you out. For example, the first village you visit starts out in a small farm. You meet up with your allies in a small shack and tell them you need a shipment to carry, and you know they're headed for the town. You'll eventually start the game exploring the town and getting involved in the gang's business. You'll play as your friends, battling monsters, or going to town to battle giant monsters. The game is played with an intuitive control scheme, which can be tricky at first, but after a while you learn how to play it.
