Microsoft Flight Simulator X Accerleration Expansion is set to release on January 28, 2021, and is expected to release later this year. The enhanced edition of Microsoft Flight Simulator X, which came out in 2020, added new aircraft types, scenery, and modernized features.

These airports also include the Japanese Paru Train Station, the Robber Control Platform from Kamen Rider, and the Japanese Bridge from Mika Hajishima Airport. These airports are also featured in the PC and Xbox Series X versions of the game, according to Asobo Studio.

Asobo Studio also included new photogrammetry cities as part of its campaign to help bring the game to life. The studio included 360-degree sky capture photos of real cities and buildings, including Rome, Rome, and New York City.
