Metal Slug 5 has just come out. According to the latest issue of Famitsu, Metal Slug 5 will be the "final" installment in the venerable franchise.

More than 300 years have passed since the last Metal Slug game, and the series has been in limbo. But with the inclusion of the series' superdeformed art style and the legendary cast of characters, the series is on its last legs.
