Memories Off 5 Encore
Memories Off 5 Encore is the latest entry in TechRadar's, deservedly epic Week in Review roundup. We think that aside from nostalgia, this is an absolutely wonderful news for the UK and Ireland alike, if you don't want to get the buzz, and who are scared of getting a new product for the week. But what makes the week-long lectures so fascinating, and should you be planning to use them to reflect on the next generation of technology?
If you're wondering what people are missing out on, the big news from today is our 4G LTE network! If you're already sitting on the fence about whether it's worth upgrading, this week we've got you covered.

In short, we're happy to reveal that 4G LTE's a thing of the past. The two-year mark for this standard is largely due to the fact that the new, faster LTE iPhone is arriving on September 1, and there are over a million users that have connected it. That makes the iPhone 13 Pro an ideal phone to upgrade if you already have an iPhone XR, XS Max, or XR.
All we know so far is that it's going to be available with the iPhone 13 Pro and above, which means you can upgrade to the 4G LTE version for $200 less than you'd think. This may seem a little expensive for what's essentially the same phone, but it's a step in the right direction. It's not the only way to get the most out of the new iPhone, and Apple has just announced that the iPhone 13 mini will be available starting September 13.
The main benefit of this new iPhone is that it makes the iPhone 13 Pro and above more widely available, so there's a bit more of a chance of a deal.
The 5.7-inch iPhone 13 Pro is taller than the iPhone XR, which is great news for anyone who's looking for a big screen and lots of pixels to choose from. It also means it's got the same flat-edged feel as the iPhone 11 Pro, as it's stuck in a straight line between the Pro and XR, though this time around it doesn't have a notch like on the Pro models.
In comparison, the 6.1-inch iPhone XR measures 146.7 x 71.5 x 7.9mm and weighs 158g. The iPhone 11 Pro's is 6.7 inches, so it's less narrow, but it's still much smaller than the iPhone XR's 146.7 x 71.1 x 7.9mm.
The iPhone XR is the more compact of the two phones in the company's 2017 range, with a smaller and lighter body that makes it a little more compact than the iPhone XR, but it's also easier to hold when compared to the Pro model.
The iPhone XR comes in silver and space gray, while the iPhone XR's is silver and space grey. All of them use the same 12MP rear camera with optical image stabilization (OIS) and a new 'finish' sensor that improves low-light performance, and boosts low-light performance, while still retaining the same ultra-wide lens and optical zoom.
Both phones are roughly the same size, but the iPhone 11 Pro features a triple-lens rear camera setup, as it's packing a 12MP f/1.7 lens with optical image stabilization.
Apple's camera is even more impressive with its new laser autofocus, which combines with optical image stabilization to produce improved low light performance and detail.
The iPhone XR also features a smaller, lighter and smaller body, while the iPhone 11 Pro also benefits from optical image stabilization (OIS) – so if you're after a phone that can take good-looking photos with minimal signposting, it's certainly worth considering.
The iPhone 11 Pro and the iPhone 11 Pro Max feature four rear cameras, and the iPhone 11 Pro Max has a pair, each packing 8MP ultra-wide, 8MP f/1.6, and 5MP f/2.4 telephoto, while the iPhone 11 Pro Max has a whopping 10MP f/2.2 one.
If you're looking to shoot as many subjects as you can, you should be more than happy with a three-lens setup, and the iPhone 11 Pro Max's secondary 12MP ultra-wide has an f/1.8 aperture and f/2.4 aperture.
