MechWarrior 4 Mercenaries
MechWarrior 4 Mercenaries, which is an expansion to last year's MechWarrior 4: Vengeance of Angels, has been announced. The game will be based on an alternate history of the war between the Middle East and Russia, and it will feature a wide range of new mechs, as well as three new campaign missions and three new environments.
The expansion will also include new missions in a number of new locations. Two new mechs will also be included, the D-Walta and F-22 Raptor, both of which were added to the game in time to coincide with the new release. The expansion will also include a number of additional new mechs, including the B-17 Escort Armored Frames and the A-23 Artemis Assault Tank. Mechs will have unique designs for their own unique abilities, so the more creative MechWarrior fans can really come up with their own designs.
MechWarrior 4 Mercenaries is scheduled for release later this year.
The final new mech for the game is the T-69 Long Range Transport, which features a wide variety of different body parts, such as high-performance optical weaponry and carbon fiber handles. This armored unit will have more weight and capability than the other vehicles in the game.
MechWarrior 4 Mercenaries will feature four major war types in its single-player mode: air, land, and sea. In this mode, players will have to fight their way through waves of enemies, each of which has a variety of different attacking units. The air transports, on the other hand, feature a variety of different means of transportation, including a fast jet plane. Players will also have to utilize a new vehicle called the Falcon Hawks, which has a wide range of weapons and capabilities, such as flamethrowers, missiles, and machine guns. However, unlike its old stationary artillery, the Falcon Hawks can be taken out using either a cannon or a mounted machine gun. Players will also be able to commandeer a tank, which is basically a fully-fledged transport.
In the single-player mode, players will have to fight their way through enemy bases, specifically on a specific mission, to secure a warhead. The first mission will involve a heavily armed warhead unit. The tank will have a handful of normal and heavy weapons, such as a cannon, a jet, and a machine gun. The bombers can even be used to destroy enemy bases. Some battles may include the rooftop battle, a section of the map that is reminiscent of that from the first mission, and a section where you have to make your way through a destroyed base. You can also use the tanks to take out some enemy artillery and walk around the map.
As mentioned, we had a chance to try out the multiplayer mode when we played the game. The single-player mode will be set in a fictionalized version of the French revolution. Players will have the option of playing as either a French or a Russian soldier, each with their own special abilities and strengths and weaknesses. Each soldier will have different specialties, but they'll all be able to equip them with different weapons. We were also able to play as the Italians and German soldiers. The Italians are excellent frontline fighters with devastating combination of speed and precision. The German soldiers are nimble and can launch smokescreens at enemies to stun them for a brief period of time. The Russian soldiers are among the best out there, so it's great that they have their own unique abilities.
There will be a wide variety of multiplayer maps in Battlefield: Bad Company, as well as a number of single-player missions. The game's deathmatch mode is a nice touch and takes place entirely on one map, with only a few vehicles to choose from. There's also the standard team deathmatch mode, which consists of both point-and-capture and team deathmatch modes. The objective is to capture and hold a number of points in a given area, but the number of flags that are displayed on the map can also be increased to limit the number of players that are at a time. The developer hopes that the different game types will add variety and challenge to the multiplayer mode, as well. For instance, the bombing run mode in the single-player game is one of the game's most interesting new gameplay features. The mode is a one-on-one objective that tasks the opposing team with protecting a point in the middle of the map. The mode seems to work well in team deathmatch, because while the flag is slowly shot down, it can be destroyed by the defending team if a teammate has taken too much damage.
The map that we played on was the train level. It featured a number of new indoor areas that are inspired by the surrounding areas in the German campaign, such as a zoo and the ocean. The interior level of the train level also housed a number of interior areas that let players try out the game's new "combat bots" that can be used for all the modes.
