The official world premiere of the latest installment of the hugely successful MARCH franchise was shown in Japan in a live stage presentation for the 1999 Tokyo Game Show. The show will feature major announcements, movies, and musical announcements, along with coverage of major media from Sony, as well as exclusive announcements and news.

MARCH ENDS ANNOUNCES A LIVE Concert Show

SAN FRANCISCO, Calif., June 22, 2006 – Electronic Arts, the company behind Madden, will announce the latest in the annual Madden franchise of lifestyle-action gaming, the first in seven years that the franchise will feature live stage performances of celebrity athletes, including Puma, Michael Jackson, and other athletes.  “MARCH ENDS” will reveal the latest entry in the Madden franchise, the first in seven years that the franchise will feature live, breathing, replays, and live TV appearances of athletes,” said Tony Key, Executive Vice President of EA SPORTS. “MARCH ENDS will bring a completely new generation of fans into the Madden experience, as well as provide an exciting and interactive experience that will be on display at the biggest events, such as the Electronic Entertainment Expo and E3.”

Signed the “#MaddenMadden Experience” and expand the broadcast experience, this newest installment of the Madden franchise will be a big one.  “MARCH ENDS” will showcase live television performances of athletes in the EA SPORTS Football Club.  “Stay tuned to our Madden LIVE Nation Club Facebook page for live coverage of exciting live and live games in the upcoming #MaddenSports Experience,” said Rich DeBarr, Director of Marketing for EA SPORTS. “MARCH ENDS allows us to showcase live, live gameplay live and on-demand sports from the EA SPORTS Football Club, including last year’s Madden NFL Live series and the NFL Street Network.”

The live broadcast experience has not been created specifically for this particular event. Instead, Sledislavich will show a curated set of 40 live commentators, an ESPN Radio app, and full commentary from live fans.  “MARCH ENDS” will broadcast a variety of first-person athletes, with live music videos, live interviews, and a live stage performance that can be viewed online for two hours per day. A suite of on-demand live music clips, videos, and premium live radio stations will also be featured, each with an exclusive playlist that will be showcased in the EA SPORTS Football Club.  Additionally, “MARCH ENDS” will broadcast free live video clips from the EA SPORTS Football Club, as well as all current live action videos, to the NFL Street Network, and this month’s live NFL Street Network.

“MARCH ENDS” will broadcast live music video, while the music video for NBA 2K12 and an NBA Live 10 video will be made available for free download during NFL Street. “MARCH ENDS” will broadcast live commentary, highlights of all current NBA players and the premiere of NBA 2K12, as well as today’s live NBA 2K12 video for NBA 2K12, and today’s LIVE video for NBA 2K12. EA SPORTS Football Club will also be available on the Madden NFL Live Marketplace as a free download, as well as an NBA Live 10 video for NBA 2K12.”

This month’s live NBA 2K12 video is coming to the NBA 2K12 video marketplace as well as the Madden NFL 10 video for NBA 2K12, available today for Madden NFL 12, as well as the NBA Live 10 video for NBA 2K12, and an NBA Live 10 video for NBA 2K12. The NBA 2K12 video and a demo of the game are available now to all EA SPORTS Football Club members.

NBA 2K12 hits stores this Sunday, October 8, on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PC, Wii, DS, 3DS, and the iPhone. The NBA 2K12 video and demo can be viewed on the site through Xbox LIVE and the PlayStation Network.
