Medal of Honor: Warfighter Remastered

For the longest time, it seemed like only a matter of time before Medal of Honor made its way to PS Plus. The game was just plain fun and playable, and the final product is arguably the best in the entire series. While not the best entry in the franchise, Warfighter is a worthwhile project in its own right.

As the game maintains a relatively quick pace throughout its campaign, players are given a fair amount of freedom in how they approach encounters. If they choose to go it alone, they could dive into a range of multiplayer modes such as Team Deathmatch, a variant of the popular deathmatch. Although not the best multiplayer shooter on PS Plus Premium, Warfighter is nevertheless one of the service's most enjoyable titles.

Metro Redux

All three Metro games are available on PS Plus Premium, and while they are among the best, 4A Games' Metro 2033 Redux is the definitive way to experience the franchise's best entry. Set in a post-apocalyptic metro station, Metro 2033 Redux tasks players with leading the protagonist, Artyom, as he tries to avoid the mutants that have overtaken the entire city. This journey does not take too long, and as the campaign progresses, players unlock more tools and options.

Metro 2033 Redux is at its best when it comes to its gameplay, which is fine but not spectacular. Metro 2033 Redux is not a fully-fledged sequel, but it stands on its own two feet as an experience.

It is rare for a strategy game to receive an Isekai twist, and the sixth entry in the Metro series offers something similar to Wolfenstein: The New Order. Although technically not an RPG, the title's campaign will provide players with a sense of closure. Consequently, players can expect to spend a fair bit of time in this universe, particularly in its final act.

Metro Exodus picks up shortly after the events of the last game, introducing a new generation of protagonists. That's not to say the story is completely devoid of wit, however, it does a good job of establishing a tone and atmosphere that does not hinder the game's otherwise stellar combat.

The Artful Escape is an open-world visual novel game that does not fully come together to form a coherent whole. In fact, this is the game's strongest point since the story is largely confined to its three chapters.

arkmob's Deathstorm is the most recent release on the PS Plus Premium catalog, and it is by far the most feature-complete game in the franchise.
