Lord of the Rings Conquest

Lord of the Rings Conquest was announced today by Electronic Arts. The company will release the real-time strategy game in conjunction with the release of the Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring and The Two Towers later this year.

The game will allow players to take control of the hero of Middle-earth and battle the forces of good, evil, or even evil. The title is developed by Troika Games, whose previous effort Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King was released in 2003. The game will feature 20 playable races and allow gamers to use characters from The Two Towers as well as The Fellowship of the Ring to play as them.

The Lord of the Rings: Conquest is scheduled for release this fall for the PC.
