The environments are a great departure from the first Lego Island. You'll fight enemies and solve puzzles using everything from bricks to gas to whiplash. The battle will be fought in levels set in different stages, and we also saw a lot of different parts that needed to be completed in a level. The levels we saw looked impressive and featured a good amount of detail, as the blocks were spread out and provide a good amount of depth. You'll be able to play through the whole game with up to four players, and there will be no online support.
The visuals in the game are looking sharp and feature a lot of detail.
Audio is shaping up nicely, thanks to the inclusion of good use of voice acting in the game. The sound effects are comparable to those seen in Lego Batman 2. The music in the game is on par with what you'll hear in Lego Batman 2. The musical score features the same theme as the Lego Batman 2 soundtrack, but it features a nice mix of songs from the game's cast.
Based on what we've seen so far, the game seems to be good enough to support the Wii Remote. The controller's core functionality is an interesting mix of moves and traditional controls. We'll bring you more on the game once we get more details.
