Hunting Unlimited 2008 is coming to Europe from Konami, and the news isn't quite as exclusive as you might think. The press release cites multiple unnamed developers working on the title, saying: "Shining video games have come a long way since the era of Strider on the NES in 1986, and the ‘cinematic camera’ in ‘Death’ sets the stage for new digital formats."

The game will feature a huge variety of environments, from wildernesses to forests, mountain ranges, bustling cities and even underground villages. According to the press release, the game will feature: “Naval combat, intense battles and exquisite photo-realistic environments.”

Taken in terms of the Japanese market, this was just about as high up the sales list as anyone could hope for. It's probably a bit unfair that in recent times there's been a little off-putting the game hasn't been bundled with consoles, especially considering the fact that, according to the Famitsu report, Nintendo, at least, is expected to announce a full Western release for their console's February 26th.
