Hornby Virtual Railway
Hornby Virtual Railway is the latest project from Digital Illusions, a developer whose games include the forthcoming RoboCop game. The company has partnered with United Press to bring a virtual transport simulation simulator to HTC Vive.
Vexis Virtual Railway uses the HTC Vive headset to track your route as you attempt to ensure your train passes the route in time. Each of your passengers will have a set time to get their carriage moving, which can affect their response.
The Virtual Railway is currently in the beta stage of development with the full version of the game on the horizon. It was announced back in February that Battle Simulator VR will be coming to HTC Vive in the second half of 2019.

Now Playing: Vive Announced With Trailer - GS News Update
If you own an HTC Vive, you'll need to buy the Vive app on Steam to use the locomotives in the game. The company has made no promises about how long that will take, and it doesn't appear to have announced an update until sometime in the next few months.
Battle Simulator VR is a virtual reality game that lets you start your own game. But don't expect to be doing the typical player-vs.-player or team-based activities; instead, you'll be participating in real-world scenarios and raising a family of friends.
"In Battle Simulator VR, players get to experience a deep and visceral and truly realistic Battle Simulator experience," developer Lab Zero Games says.
"They can live their Battle-Mech life in the comfort of a small mountain, explore a vast sandbox of environments and vehicles, and enjoy the natural survival of man and machine," the developer adds.
A premium version of Battle Simulator will be released in March 2017, though no price has been announced yet.
One of the more intriguing features of VR Worlds, in particular, is the ability to physically interact with virtual objects--and though that might not be possible in VR, as the device is physically tethered, it will be much more flexible than using the computer's keyboard and mouse.

It's always nice to see a first-person adventure game from the creators of Myst. The classic point-and-click adventure game for PC, PS3, and Xbox 360 has earned the Game of the Year award from the Writers Guild of America and the Golden Joystick Awards.
"Battle Simulator's supernatural ambience is an inspiring and often hilarious experience, even for people of any age," The Walking Dead series creator Robert Kirkman said in a statement. "It's so special to see a first-person adventure with this much and so much more. It's a great way to jump into the game as the iconic and alluring young boy, Clementine, as she goes on a terrifying journey and tries to solve the mystery of the deadly Season One."
"Over the course of the game, players will become more and more immersed in this grim world," Bethesda said. "Playing through the game's multiple branching storylines gives players the chance to explore the game world and react to the characters they meet and as they interact with the environment."
The Walking Dead has sold more than a million copies, including physical copies.
Next-gen consoles are coming out this year, and those can be preordered now through the PlayStation Network. They can be purchased at a variety of retailers, including Amazon, Best Buy, GameStop, Target, and Target. GameStop is offering the Xbox One edition, which includes a download code for the game. Best Buy is offering the digital edition for $300, while Target is offering the physical version for $250.
Those who preorder from the PlayStation Network can also get an extra weapon: the gun duran-bar. This is a starter gun that shoots in seven different ways. Players can then shoot at targets from a distance with it.
DLC for The Walking Dead: The Game is not expected to arrive until spring 2016, but publisher Telltale has already announced that the content is on the way.
A mobile version of Telltale's The Walking Dead: The Game is coming out in 2014, but Telltale hasn't said when it will release.
The first teaser for new The Walking Dead video game--an episode called 'Leared For You,' which was revealed back in November--was released last week. In it, series creator Robert Kirkman comes face-to-face with an escaped slave named Lee Everett.
