Heroine Anthem II The Angel of Sarem

Heroine Anthem II The Angel of Sarem is a spinoff from the classic looter-shooter and developed by BioWare that will launch on May 29, 2021. The game will not be an open-world adventure and instead will take place in the cold, snowy region of Oris, which is home to both humans and magic.

In the original game, the main character, Interceptor, had a number of special abilities and weapons that belonged to his mutant comrades. The sequel, titled Heroine, will follow this hero, as they battle with both human and magic, battling against evil forces that have overrun the land.

The Prototype series revolved around characters dealing with mutated androids. The first title came out in 2004 for the PS2 and original Xbox, and was developed by Radical Entertainment. The franchise itself is the sequel to Prototype 2, and was met with strong critical reception.

This third-person shooter takes place in a dystopian version of Los Angeles. Players take control of Vigilante and take on the role of fellow ex-soldier. The game sees players assume the role of the fallen former member of the resistance movement, Captain Jericho, and use an array of weapons such as smoke bombs and swords.

Mafia III is an open-world action game that came out in 2013. The game features non-linear gameplay, with players able to explore the city of New Bordeaux to level up their protagonist.

The Gran Turismo series is running a full-on hiatus for the foreseeable future, but it is possible that one of the series' entries will make a comeback in the near future. Gran Turismo 7 is set to release in 2021, though there have been no concrete announcements on whether the game will be available on the PlayStation 5.

Although The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is predominantly a role-playing game, it also incorporates elements of GTA. Geralt of Rivia and his crew make their way through a fantasy world filled with monsters, villages, and mysteries.

Gran Turismo 7 is set to release in 2021 for the PlayStation 5. The game will be released on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

Developed by the highly acclaimed and beloved indie studio Vlambeer, Super Crate Box is a side-scrolling shooter that features a series of uniquely challenging levels. Super Crate Box was one of the standout indie games of 2013, winning numerous awards for its innovative gameplay and level design.

Super Crate Box's version of its gameplay is also set to be released on PlayStation 5, with a release date yet to be announced.

Tom Clancy's The Division 2 is a role-playing game developed by Massive Entertainment, the studio behind the Mass Effect franchise. The game is set in Washington D.C. in a post-pandemic America that has been ravaged by a plague that has infected the country. In a world where the size of governments has decreased, and key countries are stuck at gunpoint, players will have to fight to stay alive.

The open-world game allows players to play as a class of agents as they explore the world and engage in a wide range of missions. Tom Clancy's The Division 2 is set to release on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One sometime in 2020.

The Metro franchise is an action-packed science fiction series developed by 4A Games and published by 4A Games. The first game was Metro 2033 released in 2010 by 4A Games. In the game, players take on the role of a survivor in a post-apocalyptic USA in Moscow, in the aftermath of a nuclear war that took place ten years earlier. The game features multiple difficulty settings, like playing on the hardest setting and more advanced. Metro: Last Light is set to release in 2020 on Xbox Series X, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC.

The Grand Theft Auto franchise has become synonymous with its high-octane action, explosive gameplay, and compelling characters, to say the least. While the series has seen its fair share of action-packed titles and chaotic open-worlds, the last five mainline Grand Theft Auto games were all action-packed.
