Hammer and Sickle

Hammer and Sickle Interactive, Inc. announced on Tuesday that they have signed a deal with Tigon Interactive for the title. Hammer and Sickle will publish the title in conjunction with Falcon 8 Productions, and both companies are already working with Furon on games based on both action and the supernatural genre.

"Hammer and Sickle will be able to provide a killer combination of suspense and horror games,'' said John Mather, president and CEO of Tigon Interactive. "Hammer and Sickle are a key addition to the Brokeback Mountain action genre."

Hammer and Sickle also announced that a first-person shooter based on the movie Sickle's action-adventure uses the Quake III engine to power the gameplay.

The four-person action game is scheduled for release this summer.
