Guilty Gear X

Guilty Gear X has gone gold and is slated for release this August in North America, according to a listing on the PlayStation Underground. The game will feature three characters from the Guilty Gear series, and it will follow the story of each character's life, as well as his favorite moments from the series.

As stated, it seems that the graphics and gameplay will be quite similar to Guilty Gear X, so the main differences will likely be as big as the two games. While the first game featured 2D character sprites, the second game featured 3D characters. It looks as though the majority of the characters will be 2D sprites, so each will have different attacks and abilities.

Guilty Gear X will be released for the PlayStation and the Dreamcast this September.
