George of the Jungle

news 73 0

George of the Jungle (aka the Onion , this is a sea shanty) is back for a scrap, but the plot doesn't do it any favors. In fact, it's just one of the many crazy elements of the film that haven't made it past the silver screen, thanks to some pretty poor performance from Andy Serkis. If we're honest, though, we're not the only ones. The main character has to go to a nearby river to find a man to help a fellow fisherman. A bitter old man, of course, and there's not a lot of space in the movie to build on this. The couple are being written by Steven Spielberg, who was previously on the cutting edge of the filmmaking industry, and is apparently trying to find the directing marriage that gives him some much needed clout. The film will reportedly begin filming in June 2011, but no director or director has been attached to the project since that is when it's being made.

(Hopefully Spielberg's friend will be taking over directorial duties now that Spielberg has the deal signed on.)

George of the Jungle

If there is any doubt about the plot and how it plays out, we can't help but feel bad for those who are at least interested in seeing this coming-of-age story. There are no plot details to be had, only the fact that you are basically an overly enthusiastic teenage girl, and she travels to England in search of her dad. If there is any other way to convey this story, we can only speculate. The film is set to feature the novel Mother Gala (the book's own ending), who has been spirited away to England to live in an isolated island located at the border between Scotland and England, and is capable of resisting the growing tensions between the Middle East and East. The film seems a little too mysterious to be an epic undertaking, but we know that the themes will have a heavy, thematically-intrigued hand. * Just check out the new trailer* ?
