Galactic Civilizations Altarian Prophecy

Galactic Civilizations Altarian Prophecy , the sequel to the acclaimed 4X grand strategy game, is due out on September 1, 2010. All versions will be identical except for the main game.

The first game, released in 1996, let players build and grow a civilization through diplomacy, espionage, and diplomacy. The game gained a lot of fame and popularity, thanks to its excellent strategic simulation, as well as its much-anticipated expansion packs, Rise and Fall.

The game is based on the original game, which had a focus on space battles and micromanagement, and it seems as if the developer plans to expand on the series. GameSpot will have a closer look at the game at E3.
