Frank Herberts Dune

Frank Herberts Dune, co-writer of sci-fi horror novel Herbert West, will be releasing a sequel to Dune in the near future, reports Slash Film .

The story begins as the Hegemony City shipwreck takes a nameless rebel prisoner on board a sinking ship. She escapes and joins forces with the troops in order to try and rally his troops to fight off the invaders. As they retreat, they spot the Soviets carrying high-level weapons and aircraft.

It sounds like a lot of fun, but to what extent has Frank Herberts been involved? “No, we don't do a really great film,” Herberts told Slash Film. “I've been helping to bring things together since I was a little kid. I always wondered what could go wrong. But when I saw the finished product, I was totally impressed.”
