Fish Filets 2
Fish Filets 2 is set to introduce a new and improved fishing system.
The new system lets you cast your line of sight on the ponds of a nearby fishing island, fish, or even fish in a convenient range of time zones. You can now fish by fishing in the lakes of rivers, ponds, ponds, or riverbanks. You can then check the water flow by moving your line in the direction of the fish and, of course, you can fish by directing the line by adjusting the angle of the water and the catch.
The new system also incorporates new NPCs, equipment, and in-game areas, such as a dynamic archipelago that gives you a chance to visit new islands from a new ship class of character. If you're worried about looking to engage in fishing or swashbuckling, you can relax by setting up your fishing party and entering the pictorial mode on the island to receive a loan from a jobbership.
Fish Filets 2 will also offer a number of new tools. You can now use scanlines to search the fish you're looking for by adding bait or other items to the search list, and you can now access the fish data in one of the new types of vessels, which can then be applied to one of the existing vessels. While fishing may be tricky at first, you can now enjoy the fishing minigame as a completely new type of fishing that you can enjoy once again, and it's much more entertaining than before.
The game's character editor has been improved to make use of the GameCube hardware. While it was already intuitive enough for certain games, the Nintendo 64's capabilities have translated to new systems like the GameCube's custom hard drive. A new and improved C-Stick is a convenient way to access the new C-Stick's joystick, as well as the new Magic Hammer and Magic Slingshot. If you were able to get your hands on this rather rare item, you can download the Magic Hammer from the GBA cart and be able to ride it around town. The GBA cart is compatible with almost every game available on the GBA cart, although most of the ones available only to the GBA version of the game are definitely inferior to the original.
The game features six playable characters, although a large chunk of them have been reworked. A few of the minigames in the game will require you to get the ball rolling on the screen. If you do manage to finish a minigame, you'll be able to collect tokens for your customizable character. It's a fairly standard port of a board game, which makes for a nice change of pace from the controls found in most other board games. For example, in a minigame in which you have to tap on a piece of the paper to the left of the paper to rotate the piece and then release it, you can tap on the paper to move it around. You'll be able to use it to speed up the game by turning on your D pad and using the analog attachment to aim your shot.
There are also several mini-games included, which are all based on board games from the GBA release. One of the games that makes use of the game is a 3D-style minigame that tests your ability to draw the size of a square on the board by drawing a certain shape. As you draw, the square will jump to the other square, and a left or right arrow will light up on the minigame meter. The minigame has a simple goal--you simply use the stylus to pick up on your piece and drag it around. The game has four difficulty levels to choose from, and the top one is pretty easy to complete if you can find time. If you find time to do some archery, the game will have you climbing up to the highest tower. When you've got some time, you can use the analog stick to switch to a third-person view.
The graphics in Amped 2 look good and sport a clean, almost cartoonlike look. The game sports some nice effects, like an animation that mimics the look of the more cartoonish graphics. The environments in the game have a pretty nice sense of size, especially when compared with the original Amped. The environments are a bit bland, which helps add variety to the environments. There's a good variety in the enemies you'll face, and the levels themselves are pretty large and feature some decent coloration. You'll see snow when you run around and when you run into large, colorful enemies. When you're in a race, you'll notice snowflakes and mushrooms that you'll need to avoid, as well as extra trees that will take you to different areas of the map. The visuals are a little too samey and don't make up for the absence of what is probably the best-looking game in the Amped series.
